In additional to our school matinee performances, CWETA will also be
producing a special modified performance of CATS for students with special needs, their teachers, & their families.
The audience for this 1-hour performance can include children with autism, cognitive delays, speech & language impairments, & physical impairments.
The show will be presented in a friendly environment for
students who can’t typically attend a live performance.
Adjustments will be made to the length of the show, the
volume of the music and the lighting, as well as other aspects of the production.
This performance will be offered free of charge to
students, teachers and family members on
Monday, February 7th at 9:30 AM at the Grand Theater.
The Grand Theater has a large seating capacity
which will allow us to accommodate a wide
variety of special seating needs.
Input from Special Education Teachers
and Coordinators will be requested
to help modify the performance to
meet the needs of the
students attending.
Reservations
are required.
