DC EVEREST, AND MOSINEE HIGH SCHOOLS.

"BEAUTY & THE BEAST" AUDITION Preparation



Students need to prepare:

a one minute reading &

one minute vocal piece of their choice


Audition Materials do not need to be from "BEAUTY & THE BEAST"

Memorization is not required.

A piano accompanist will be provided.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS





Who is eligible to audition?



All students,

Grades 3-12, in the Central WI area are eligible to audition.


No Appointment or

Pre-Registration is needed. Simply come to any scheduled audition date.



How many students will be cast in the show?



Students make up the entire cast and a large part of the crew. The size of the cast will range between 30 & 60 - lots of opportunities for students.


There will also be other involvement opportunities such as in the pit orchestra or stage crew!



Where & When are rehearsals?



Rehearsals will start at 4:00 pm each day.


A detailed schedule will be given to each student on the first day of rehearsal. Not every cast members will be called for every rehearsal. It will vary between 1 & 4 times per week depending on role and proximity to show dates.



When are performances?



There will be multiple performances of BEAUTY & THE BEAST in Mid-February 2024.


SPECIFIC DATES, TIMES, AND VENUE WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON.


3 performances will be matinees for school groups. Cast Members will miss 3 mornings of school & are responsible for making up all school work.
